Cookie Policy & Preferences
Last updated: 9 June 2026
This page explains how GEOSCORES uses cookies and similar technologies, what each cookie does, and how you can manage your preferences. If you have questions, contact privacy@geoscores.tech.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and (with your consent) help us understand how visitors use the product.
2. Your current preference
You haven't set a cookie preference yet. Visit any page on GEOSCORES and use the banner to choose, or update your preference here:
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to function. They cannot be disabled because the service would not work without them. They do not collect personal information for marketing purposes.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| geoscores.cookie-consent.v1 | Stores your cookie consent choices so we don't ask you again on every visit. | 1 year | GEOSCORES |
| sb-* (Supabase auth tokens) | Authentication session and refresh tokens to keep you signed in securely. | Session / refresh rotation | Supabase |
4. Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with GEOSCORES — for example, which features are used most and whether people run into errors. The data is aggregated and pseudonymous. We only enable these if you consent.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| ph_* / posthog-* (if enabled) | Product analytics — page views, feature usage, and error tracking in aggregated form. | 1 year | PostHog (EU-hosted) |
5. Third-party processors
We use carefully selected processors to run the Service. Where cookies are set by these providers, they are listed above. Our key infrastructure and analytics providers are:
- Supabase — authentication and database. Based in the US with UK/EU data-transfer safeguards.
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe cookies relate to fraud prevention during checkout.
- PostHog (EU-hosted) — product analytics. Only active if you consent to analytics cookies.
6. How to manage or withdraw consent
You can change your preference at any time by returning to this page and toggling the switch above. You can also clear cookies from your browser settings. If you disable analytics cookies, we will stop setting new analytics cookies, though some may persist until they expire naturally.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as we add or remove features. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product before they take effect.
