Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GEOSCORES website, applications, APIs and services (together, the "Service") provided by GEOSCORES ("GEOSCORES", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

GEOSCORES provides AI visibility intelligence: we query large language models (including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot and Grok) about businesses you specify and produce reports, scores and recommendations. Outputs are generated by third-party AI systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. The Service is informational and does not constitute professional, legal, marketing or financial advice.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Subscriptions, billing and trials

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cadence shown at checkout, in pounds sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise, via our payment processor Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from your account. Trial periods convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Consumer right of withdrawal (UK/EU). Where you qualify as a consumer, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a paid subscription. By starting to use the Service during this period you expressly agree that the Service begins immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once the Service has been fully performed. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods after that.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully or to infringe the rights of others;
  • scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive source code from the Service;
  • resell or white-label the Service without our written permission;
  • submit data you do not have the right to share, or audit businesses solely to harass them;
  • upload malware, attempt to bypass rate limits or interfere with platform integrity.

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of business information you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to process that information for the purpose of operating the Service, generating reports, sending notifications, and improving the platform in aggregated, de-identified form. Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy.

6. AI-generated output

Reports and recommendations are produced by third-party AI models and reflect those models' interpretations at the time of querying. Visibility scores, competitor rankings and recommendations are estimates. You are responsible for reviewing and validating output before acting on it. GEOSCORES makes no warranty of accuracy.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, update features, or discontinue parts of the Service. Where reasonable we will give advance notice for material changes.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, branding, design, scoring methodology and aggregated insights, is owned by GEOSCORES or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

9. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination your access ends; we will delete or anonymise personal data in line with the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI outputs will be accurate, complete or fit for any particular decision.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, anticipated savings, or indirect or consequential loss.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that consumers may bring claims in the courts of the country where they live.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
